QUOTATION: Healing & Faith

Those who are healed quickly are those who have no faith, or  have little faith, so that they have faith; whereas those who have a solid faith are not healed quickly because the Good Lord prefers to test them, to make them suffer in order to sanctify them more.

QUOTATION: Death

When we have lived a good life, we must not fear death: it's the gate to heaven.  There is so little distance between heaven and earth, that God always hears us.  Only a veil separates us from God.

QUOTATION: Pray for Those Who Sin at Night

Pray often at night, and ask the Lord to have pity on those who sin by night: because they are more numerous than those who sin by day. By day, they are usually busy doing something else. Offer to Suffering Jesus a whole night of prayer for those who continually make him cry because of their sins. You will want to pass other nights in prayer. It will be worth a superbe place of eternal rest.

QUOTATION: Hope of Salvation

The Good Lord doesn't ask us to be martyred, he created a life easier than that for us. He asks us to live as a good Christian, and to properly observe the commandments that the Church requires us to follow, such as charity, the love of God and neighbour, and to always be ready for all sacrifices for the defense of the Catholic Church. And if we put into practice what the Church asks of us,  we have reason to hope that the day will come when the Good Lord will welcome us in his blessed eternity of heaven, with all those who are waiting for us.

If you only ate once a year, you would soon be sick, likewise, if you receive communion but once a year, you could only remain in a state of grace with difficulty.
